In the heart of Kwanza, Trans Nzoia County, a remarkable story unfolds. For years, Asis Community has been a beacon of hope, illuminating the path for countless young minds. With unwavering dedication, the organization has successfully guided over 18 students through the challenges of high school, empowering them to reach their full potential. One such inspiring success story is Boneventure Kwanusu, a 2024 scholarship awardee. Orphaned and under the care of his frail, 81-year-old grandmother, Boneventure faced immense adversity. His grandmother, battling diabetes and high blood pressure, was unable to provide the necessary support. Yet, with the unwavering support of Asis Community, Boneventure persevered. He not only completed high school but also secured a scholarship to pursue his higher education dreams at Friends School Bokoli Boys. Asis Community’s commitment to education extends beyond financial aid. It provides comprehensive support, including tutoring, mentorship, and counseling. By fostering a nurturing environment, the organization empowers students to overcome obstacles and achieve academic excellence. The impact of Asis Community’s work is immeasurable. Story of Mercy

JEPCHIRCHIR MERCY, a teenager raised by the Sunrise Children’s Home in Kabarnet scored a B- in 2019 KCSE results from Tabagon Girls, Baringo, Kenya. Mercy thanks Asis Community in the US which gave her a full scholarship throughout her secondary school education. She just recently graduated at Maseno University with her Bachelors Degree, an opportunity she could not have achieved without the assistance of the ASIS community.
